What To Expect

"There is no need to stress about something you do not know."

Massage Therapy

Before Your Massage

  • Complete the intake form thoroughly and truthfully when it gets delivered to your email (2-3 days before your appointment)

  • Hydrate and eat a snack or light meal an hour to an hour and a half before the session

  • Please shower the day of your massage

  • Plan to arrive 5 minutes early to ensure we have everything we need to begin.

Creating a Treatment Plan

Using information provided on your intake form, we can work together to create a treatment plan that will best suit your needs. Communication about the work itself (pressure, etc.) is important. If you are looking for a more relaxing massage, talking is not necessary - I'll take your lead. You can undress to your level of comfort and the massage will begin. Remember to breathe deeply and calmly to help increase circulation.

After Your Session

When the session ends, you will have privacy to get dressed. Once you're ready, you can open the door slightly to let me know that you are dressed. I will then come in to discuss the session with you, answer any questions you have, and recommend self-care routines,  and make referrals as needed. It's recommended that you drink more water after the session to help with any muscle soreness.

Let's Remember...

Let's design a session together

Let me know what you are looking for in your session. If that just legs, amazing! If you want more relaxation than pain relief, great! If you're new to massage, lets learn what works best for your body.

Massage is not a one and done

You can feel the benefits of the massage pretty immediately. The effects can last a while, will last longer with regularly scheduled appointments.
